Our Vision

Our Vision

"Where there is no vision the people perish..." Proverbs 29:18

Vision Farms is a family operated farm, and as our name implies, we do have a vision.

First, our vision is for our children, that they be good stewards over what God has given them. Not only material things, but more importantly, the talents and skills they have been given, that they may be a blessing to all the lives they touch.

Secondly, our vision is to provide good, wholesome, nutritious food, for folks who are looking for an alternative to today's processed foods, that not only are void of nutrition, but can also be harmful to our health.

What We Do

We have been on our small farm here in western Colorado since 2000. We raise purebred Jersey milk cows, and Hereford, grass-fed beef cows. We raise broilers and turkeys for meat, free range hens for eggs, and young Golden Comet laying hens to sell. We also raise Finnsheep for their wool, and have a lamb crop every year, to provide replacement ewes and grass fed lamb.  We breed and raise Australian Shepherd puppies and Great Pyrenees guard pups. We also have a large garden and a small orchard. We love raising our own food, and providing good food for neighbors and folks in our area who are concerned about the safety of what they eat.  We have five children, so what we feed them is of extreme importance to us. They are the five main reasons why we farm. In doing that, we have the benefit of being able to offer our farm products to others.
